Understanding

The four practices of the mahatmas: (1) Satatam kirtayantah (constantly praising, singing, glorifying — kirtan). (2) Yatantah ca (striving — the discipline of practice). (3) Drdha-vrata (firm vow — steady commitment). (4) Namasyantah bhaktya (bowing with devotion — surrender and love). Nitya-yukta (ever united).
