Chapter 8, Verse 7 — Meaning, Translation & Explanation
तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च । मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर् मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयः ॥
tasmAt sarveshu kAleshu mAm anusmara yudhya ca mayyarpita-mano-buddhir mAm evaishy'asy asamsayah
Meaning
Therefore, at all times, remember Me and fight. With mind and intellect offered to Me — you shall come to Me alone, without doubt.
Understanding
The practical conclusion of v5-6: tasmAt (therefore, in light of what was just taught) — sarveshu kAleshu (at ALL times — not just meditation sessions) mAm anusmara (remember Me continuously). Yudhya ca (AND fight — do your duty). The integration: remember AND act. MayyarpitA mano-buddhi (with mind AND intellect offered/surrendered to Me). The result: mAm eva eshyasi (you shall come to Me alone). Asamsayah — no doubt. The path is clear: continuous remembrance in the midst of action.
