Bhagavad Gita BG 6.31
Chapter 6, Verse 31 — Meaning, Translation & Explanation
सर्वभूतस्थितं यो मां भजत्येकत्वमास्थितः । सर्वथा वर्तमानोऽपि स योगी मयि वर्तते ॥
sarva-bhuta-sthitam yo mam bhajaty ekatvam asthitah sarvatha vartamano 'pi sa yogi mayi vartate
Meaning
The yogi who worships Me dwelling in all beings, established in oneness — no matter how they are living (in all conditions) — that yogi abides in Me.
Understanding
A liberating statement: the yogi who bhajati (worships) Krishna sarva-bhuta-sthitam (dwelling in all beings — i.e., sees and worships the divine in all), ekatvam asthitah (established in oneness — the non-dual vision) — sarvatha vartamano 'pi (no matter what conditions they are living in — all circumstances) — sa mayi vartate (that yogi abides in Me). The vision of oneness, not the external circumstances, is what makes one a yogi in Krishna.
