Bhagavad Gita BG 10.10

Chapter 10, Verse 10 — Meaning, Translation & Explanation

तेषां सततयुक्तानां भजतां प्रीतिपूर्वकम् । ददामि बुद्धियोगं तं येन मामुपयान्ति ते ॥

tesham satata-yuktanam bhajadam priti-purvakam dadami buddhi-yogam tam yena mam upayanti te

Meaning

To those ever united with Me, worshipping (Me) with love — I give that yoga of knowledge (buddhi-yoga) by which they come to Me.

Understanding

The grace of the inner teacher: tesham satata-yuktanam (to those ever-united, always yoked to Me) who bhajatam priti-purvakam (worship with priti — love, delight, devotion first). To these, dadami (I give) buddhi-yogam (the yoga of intelligence/discernment). The giving happens from within — Krishna is the inner teacher who illumines the mind of the devoted. The buddhi-yoga given is specifically tam yenam mam upayanti te (the one by which they come to Me). It is not generic knowledge but the specific understanding that leads to the Giver. Grace is not capricious — it flows to those who love and remain united. The formula: constant yoga + love-worship → Krishna gives inner buddhi-yoga → arrival at Krishna.
